Bottle Shop General Manager

Pay Rate: $45,000 - $60,000 annually
Purpose
The distillery bottle shop general manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the
Bottle shop, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and achieving sales targets. This role involves strategic planning, executing marketing initiatives, maintaining high standards of product presentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ultimately driving the profitability and growth of the business.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
● Daily operation of the store with an emphasis on training guests and other associates on our entire line of spirits.
● Assist customers in selecting and purchasing distilled spirits and related merchandise, providing knowledgeable
recommendations and exceptional customer service.
● Conduct engaging distillery tours for visitors, sharing insights into the distillation process, the history of the craft
distillery, and the unique characteristics of our spirits.
● Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in the bottle shop, including restocking shelves, organizing
merchandise displays, and completing inventory checks as needed.
● Complete all required checklists diligently, including inventory reconciliation, cleanliness inspections, and
operational procedures, to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements
● Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and provide knowledgeable recommendations about distilled spirits, as well as to deliver engaging and informative distillery tours.
● Physical fitness and stamina to navigate stairs involved in the tour, ensuring the ability to lead visitors through the distillery facility comfortably and safely.
● Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandise in the bottle shop, ensuring accurate stock levels and a visually appealing display for customers.
