Cincinnati Distilling Strikes Gold, Silver and Bronze at the US Open Whiskey and Spirits Championship

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati Distilling proudly announces its outstanding achievements at the prestigious US Open Whiskey and Spirits Championship, securing top honors with multiple medal wins.


Taking home the coveted Gold Medal is Cincinnati Distilling's signature Stillwrights Spiced Rum, a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication to excellence that defines the Stillwrights brand. With its rich flavors and smooth finish, Stillwrights Spiced Rum continues to captivate palates and earn accolades from industry experts.


Additionally, Cincinnati Distilling brought home Silver Medals awarded to both Catherine Waldschmidt Bourbon 6 Year Bourbon and Cincinnati Distilling Code 4 Blueberry Donut Whiskey which is a collaboration between the distillery and the Butler County FOP Lodge 101. 


Rounding up the awards with a set of bronze medals are Cincinnati Distilling’s Rye Whiskey, Fire Brigade Cinnamon Whiskey which is a collaboration with Sycamore Professional Firefighters Local 3907, Ohio Malt Whiskey which was distilled and aged from beer that would have been thrown away during COVID, and Voltage Peppermint Schnapps, a collaboration with Doscher’s Candies made with the same peppermint they use in their world famous candy canes.


This brings Cincinnati Distilling’s medal count to 29 over the past few years making it one of the highest awarded distilleries in Cincinnati even being named Grand National Champion during last year’s competition.
